I am investigating ideas involving the natural order and simulation of nature. My research is based on material, artificial or processed, that possesses qualities similar to nature. I enjoy aspects of spontaneity from everyday life mainly through discarded found objects, drawings, photography and video. I am interested in the transformation of material and object through intervention. Documentation is currently important to my practice when I am investigating the notion of still life. The still life works are placed in the context of art history and contemporary practice. I enjoy the conversation across time that may occur in parts of my art.
