The First Thursdays market will be packed full of talented makers from all over Auckland; selling everything from vintage clothing, jewellery, art, prints, homewares, knitting, 2nd hand books and craft supplies — there will be something for everyone! Many of the unique and creative makers have been attending markets around Auckland and for others it will be their first time; an excellent chance to see established talent and maybe discover a new favourite. Cash sales on the night (cash machine just outside the venue)

WeiTing was born in NZ.In the past she has played with Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra-as an APO Secondary school scholar, the youngest to have been accepted in the programme's history, played solos at the Auckland Town hall, participated and placed at many competitions, played the harp for royalty and won several scholarships.


She hopes to make a career out of her passion for the harp in the future. She passed her ATCL harp recital exam with distinction in 2008. and she passed her LTCL harp recital exam with distinction in 2010.

Window Box Opera presents operatic vignettes in St Kevin’s Arcade, Karangahape Rd during First Thursdays. Framed by arcade windows and historic art deco architecture, a selection of popular arias and ensembles will be performed with piano accompaniment. Singers will appear as the seductive songstresses, lavish lords and longing lovers who inhabit the worlds within well-known operas.
