Born in Poland, Eva Polak immigrated to New Zealand in late 1998 where she discovered her passion for photography. She has specialised in Impressionist Photography since 2007.
To date, Eva Polak has shown her work at The Depot Artspace Gallery in Devonport, Auckland, Colorado's Center for Fine Art Photography (US) and Upstairs Gallery in Tititrangi, Auckland. She has also been published in Practical Photography, on digital-photography-school.com, and has produced two books: "At the beach", a collection of images; and "Impressionist Photography Techniques", outlining ways to use your camera for painterly effect.
As an educator, Eva has passed on her knowledge and experience to keen photographers through her workshops in association with NZ Photography Tours.
Eva's ideas, spark and enthusiasm knows no limits; she is always running, bringing her talents and tireless spirit to the next endeavour.
