Shariyah was born in 1984 into a family of artists. Rather than attending fine art schools, her childhood was spent drawing & painting with her mother as her "art teacher", along with her 5 sisters in the hills of Tennessee. Recently Shariyah moved from Los Angeles, to New Zealand. Here she spends most of each day painting & creating in her studio.
Both Italian & Mexican tradition figure prominently in her work, which has sometimes been characterized as Naïve art or folk art. Her recent work explores mixed-media portraits, with a reniassance-like feel that embodies a spiritual or expressive essence.

Growing up in Tauranga in an extremely creative family, Bobbie Gray started out creating landscape oil paintings. When she moved to Auckland the change of scenery inspired her latest body of work.
Her sign-writing experience, being surrounded by talented DJ friends, and her desire to experiment painting on various surfaces led her to this series: a collection of recycled 12' vinyl records stenciled back to life as paintings. Her aim is to keep pushing her boundaries to continue creating work that is unique.
